The holiday season is one of my favorite times of the year. You get to enjoy time with family and friends. Decorating the tree, baking cookies, holiday movies, Christmas lights, and gift exchanges. It is a special time of year to celebrate with loved ones.
The poinsettia is one of my favorites for the holiday. Most people see the poinsettia as a beautiful plant for gifts or to give your home pops of festive color. Did you know poinsettia blossoms also look great when added in floral arrangements?
A single poinsettia blossom with holiday greens and berries designed in cute festive containers are perfect for a teacher, friend, or coworker gift. It’s a simple festive gift sure to put a smile and brighten someone’s day.
A beautiful marbled pink poinsettia mixes great with similar colored roses, peonies and lilies to decorate a festive holiday party.
The poinsettia blossoms are also beautiful when used in simple classic rounded arrangements. The blossoms pair beautifully with amaryllis, roses, peonies and unexpected elements like succulents or tillandsia. Add cranberries to the container for an extra festive touch. This arrangement would look great on someone’s table for Christmas breakfast or dinner.
